The Pyramids of Giza are Egypt’s most notorious landmark. It is also near the valley of kings. The great pyramids were built in between 2589 BC to 2504 BC. The pyramids were used to preserve the bodies of the dead rulers and to protect treasures. The pyramids of Giza also took approximately 20 years for the ancient Egyptians to build. They didn’t have the modern technology we do now, so that is why it took them longer to build. I think the Pyramids Of Giza would be a nice spot to visit one day.
