Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes

The Palace of the knights of Rhodes was built around 1319-1349 AD it was built to serve a secure residential stronghold for the orders grandmaster. It was also built as a defense fortress during the Byzantine Empire. The order of Saint John in Greece helped the construction of the fortress as well. In the 14 century the fortress has gone through an earthquake though it was repaired afterwards. I think this palace holds some interesting history.
